Art & Reflections

Homecoming

Posted by Lotte Winther on

This return to home has been particularly beautiful, overwhelming, funny, weird, strange, shaking my ground and reconnecting.  Oddly enough, it’s always like this when I arrive in Denmark and especially at the farm where I grew up in the most peaceful nature. There’s this hill - Denmark doesn’t have mountains, but we surely have hills! - and when I pass it and see the fields, the little forest my dad planted a decade ago, the yellow brick barn and my best friend’s home farm vaguely in the horizon, peace takes over. Spring Summer Refreshed Reflections

Posted by Lotte Winther on

Oh wow what a time to be alive! I’m extending the summer once again by going back to Europe — part for art projects, but of course also to visit loved ones. It’s always like that when I travel. A very vague idea and then, loads and loads...

Traveling Artist in Peru

Posted by Lotte Winther on

Here's a thought. It's funny how you dream of something for a while, then get occupied with other things, and suddenly wake up to a dream come true. Have you ever had that experience? I bet most people have.  I firmly believe in the law of manifestation - then of course, I think it's much more than just magic. It's definitely a matter of actions and attitude too. I think I started dreaming of life as a traveling artist a couple of years ago, before I just jumped into the arts. I was at this meeting while still working in...
